Shuffle, shuffle, robe. Door open. Peer down at small serious face. “I’m sorry I don’t always understand you honey. Sometimes I don’t understand myself.”
“Oh.”
Hands, walk, walk, tuck in, kiss, hug.
“Mommy? Why is President Bush so mean?”
